Queen's Green Canopy

Hockley Parish Council has taken part in the Queen’s Green Canopy to mark the Platinum Jubilee.  A Sorbus commixta ‘Olympic Flame Tree’ was planted on the green at Broad Parade which should give summer and autumn colour over the coming seasons.

Hockley Parish Council held a lighting of beacon as well as a picnic fete event at Westerings primary academy in honour of the Queens platinum Jubilee.  It was wonderful to see so many from the community be involved and a part of the celebrations.
