Moment of Reflection

On the 13th September Chairman Councillor Barbara Thorogood placed a wreath on behalf of the Parish Council at the war memorial, local residents, school and businesses came together to reflect on their memories of the Queen. Residents are welcome to leave floral tributes at the war memorial.

Sustainability Strategy 2022 – 2027

Rochford District Council needs your input in helping shape our strategy for the protecting and improving the environment going forward.

We are inviting everyone who lives or runs a business in the district to help shape our Sustainability Strategy for 2022–2027.

Complete our survey and you will be able to enter into a prize draw for a Prezzee £100 gift card, redeemable at a supermarket of your choice.

The survey on the Sustainability Strategy has two categories, one aimed at all residents and the other at businesses.

Sustainability Strategy

All the Jubilee themed floral displays, sponsored by Hockley Parish Council, can now be seen around the village and at Broad Parade.  Our thanks go to Riverside Nursery & Garden Centre and Bruce and his team from Constable Maintenance who will be looking after the displays for the council over the summer.
