The Essex County Council (Footpath 2, Hockley) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:  To temporarily close Footpath 2, Hockley in the District of Rochford, from its junction with B1013 High Road, for its entire length (approximately 834 metres) in a northerly and north westerly direction, to its junction with footpath 1 and footpath 3.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 14 October 2021 for 6 months, weather permitting, or where appropriate signs are showing and is required for the safety of the public due to Closure on grounds of safety issue as identified by Network Rail.

The Order will come into effect on 07 October 2021 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
