Hockley Parish Council Christmas Street Event
It is with a heavy heart that we have to announce that this year’s Hockley Parish Council Christmas Street Event has been cancelled (due to take place on Saturday 27th November 2021).
Public safety is of utmost importance to the Council. Due to the current rates of Covid-19, and the likelihood of further increases leading up to November, the Council felt the only option was to cancel this year’s event to ensure the health and safety of our residents.
We will, however still have our Christmas tree lit up in Southend Road, along with a new and improved lighting scheme in Spa Road, Southend Road, Main Road and Broad Parade.
Castle Point and Rochford District Residents Health and Wellbeing Survey
The Castle Point and Rochford Health and Wellbeing Board has launched a short online survey to better understand how the pandemic has affected residents’ wellbeing.
The Castle Point and Rochford District Residents Health and Wellbeing Survey provides an opportunity for residents to share their experiences and will help ensure their needs are reflected in the new joint health and wellbeing strategy for Castle Point and Rochford.
The survey is anonymous, but there is an opportunity for respondents to supply their contact details if they wish to be contacted and receive further information in relation to the answers they give. The closing date for responses is Friday 3 September.
