Election of Chairman and Vice Chairman

Following on from our Annual General Meeting,  we are pleased to announce our new Chairman Councillor Barbara Thorogood and Vice Chairman Councillor Sue Martin.

All the Jubilee themed floral displays, sponsored by Hockley Parish Council, can now be seen around the village and at Broad Parade.  Our thanks go to Riverside Nursery & Garden Centre and Bruce and his team from Constable Maintenance who will be looking after the displays for the council over the summer.

Castle Point and Rochford District Residents Health and Wellbeing Survey

The Castle Point and Rochford Health and Wellbeing Board has launched a short online survey to better understand how the pandemic has affected residents’ wellbeing.

The Castle Point and Rochford District Residents Health and Wellbeing Survey provides an opportunity for residents to share their experiences and will help ensure their needs are reflected in the new joint health and wellbeing strategy for Castle Point and Rochford.

The survey is anonymous, but there is an opportunity for respondents to supply their contact details if they wish to be contacted and receive further information in relation to the answers they give. The closing date for responses is Friday 3 September.
